It was such a joy seeing Hayden at her 3 month shoot. She has grown so much and quite the charmer. I am excited to watch her grow during her babies first year shoot! It’s she adorable.
Danville’s fourth of July parade was amazing. Around 50k people attend every year. I was so excited to see everything, but could not wait to see CCI’s float! There was a veteran on the float with his service dog. I have had the privilege of documenting some of these amazing puppies. My dear friend Linda, who has a heart of gold, is a breeder for CCI. She has given me the opportunity to capture these beautiful dogs. I made three banners with some photos I took. They were displayed on the float.
There were different types of bands, kids on bikes, horses, cool classic cars, army jeeps and helicopters, politicians, police, firemen, and so much more. Let’s not forget about the people who have served this country for our freedom. There were veterans and service members who joined the parade. One moment in particular I found humbling was seeing the families of soldiers who were wounded in battle. Be thankful, be safe, and be free.
Happy 4th everyone!
Here are the three banners and some photos of the parade.
These are the puppies Linda is currently raising. They were given the letter Y for their names.

Here comes CCI’s float!
Thank you to the officers who kept everyone safe during the parade.
I had the joy of working with a truly wonderful person. Sheri makes gorgeous jewelry and is well know in my hometown for her jewels. She recently started selling on Amazon! You can read the heartfelt story behind her jewelry here. It originated from a verse in the bible, Zechariah 9:16, “For they shall be like jewels on a crown”. I wanted this photo to capture the verse along with her heart locket. I am so grateful to work with people like her and share their stories.
Always wonderful to work with Andrea. I was so excited to hear that she signed with MDT. They are amazing and so is she! Great things in her future.

Madrid had her third litter! I was so excited to receive the text when the puppies finally arrived. She had 3 girls and 5 boys! Madrid was breed with another black labrador so the chances of her having yellow labs were slim. The first two that arrive were girls and yellow. Then the five boys, one yellow and four blacks. Last, but certainly not least was a girl, she was born at 7:11pm. This number holds a special place in my heart. My husband and I were married on 7-11-08 and four years later on 7-11-12 our darling son was born. Each puppy is assigned a color for identification… Her color is teal! Each one of these puppies is very special and they already have their own personality. They are truly amazing and what they will achieve is life changing. I am so grateful to be a part of their journey.
Here they are at one day old. Madrid is such a good mom. More pictures to come soon!
